The See, Hear, Value campaign aims to support staff to engage with all students on placement and campus.
We will be holding a series of interactive events as part of this campaign. There are currently two pilot projects that provide the opportunity for staff and students to meet and have open, honest and respectful dialogue.
These are:
Our Listening Project, we are currently holding our first round of conversations between staff and students. To find out more about this project, visit the Our Listening Project page.
Reverse Mentoring, we are currently running our 4th round of reverse mentoring, which is open to students with protected characteristics or from underrepresented backgrounds, and staff who work with students in the Faculty of Medicine. To find out more visit the Reverse Mentoring page.
Student Mentoring, We have introduced a new student mentoring programme, to provide information, advice or guidance to current and future medical and Master’s students during their time at the Faculty of Medicine. This programme is pastorally based, for students wanting advice relating to personal rather than academic matters. To find out more visit the Student Mentoring page
